2012

It's sure been a while since I last updated. We finished up the year of 2011 with lots of work and lots of family time. I turned 22 last month. I celebrated the day with all sorts of family and friends; special visits from Kristjana, Dillon, and Holly Ann :)  We were also blessed enough to spend Christmas day with family as well.  Now we are well into 2012. Life moves on just the same: work, school, time together, more work, sleep. But this year is going to be a fantastic year! There is so much in store for JD and I.
 My husband is the most incredible man ever. With that being said, he bought me WICKED tickets for Christmas! True Love. He does not enjoy musicals in the least, but yet he still noticed how my eyes lit up every time I saw a commercial or poster for Wicked. When he gave me the tickets he informed me that there are two tickets, yes he will be driving me down there, no he will not be attending the show, and I could choose whomever I wanted for the second ticket. Of course I chose my mother :)
  In two months time something amazing will happen! The whole Parker fam is headed to Hawaii to enjoy a week of paradise. I can not wait!!! We're going to the Big Island. There will be lots of beach time, lots of sun and warmth, some helicopter rides, snorkeling, sunset cruises, and I'm sure tons of incredible food. There's also the Kona Temple nearby which I'm very excited to visit too. 
  I love that I can sit back and examine my life and realize how blessed I am. Of course we have our trials and hardships, but there is so much joy and love that surrounds us. We're very grateful for our jobs, even if it feels like all we do is work and stress over work. Most of all we're so lucky to have great friends and family. I hope every one is as excited for 2012 as we are! Yes I know this is three weeks too late, but happy new year!
