When Bordom Attacks

I get bored very easily. To keep busy I pretend to be a crafty, Susy house-keeper type wife. Before getting married, I was NEVER a crafty person. Now, my mind runs and runs with thoughts of how to beautify my lovely 70's trailer. The challenge of how to improve my wood paneling walls, bright orange carpet, and hideous wall paper enthralls me.

There's not much I can do about the wood panels and floors, but that wall paper is now long gone. Thanks to some cheap oops paint from the Depot and a little bit of paint mixing, I am now a ton happier with our home.

It's amazing what a little bit of paint will do. I'm sure no one, besides my dear friend Natalie, will miss the wall paper. I have also been busy re-upholstering a few treasures. Meet the most darling, little chair. It was left in the trailer when we moved in, and I gratefully accepted it.

A while back, Toe had given me some old fabric. I don't know why I took it, I just liked it. Thank goodness, since it was the perfect material for my projects.

I am pleased to introduce you all to my piano. My mom bought it for me about 4 years ago from non-other than the Newnam's. It's been in storage for way too long, but it finally has a home. All it needed was a little fixing. I love it!
Do you recognize it, Jordan?

My little crafts and home-improvements aren't much, but it sure helps to make this trailer feel more like a home. I also had a late night, crazy Christmas craft adventure. Maybe I'll blog about that later this week. Maybe not. It involved a loofah. And that's just weird.
