Three nights ago, I was at the pharmacy working when we were robbed by gun point. A man wearing a hooded sweatshirt jumped the counter, with a gun in his hand. He took a lot of drugs. A lot. This is the second robbery at our pharmacy in one month. It's still hard to comprehend. I have been so grateful to all my family members and loved ones who have called or offered their love. JD has been my rock. He came to see me about an hour after the robbery and helped calm me. His work allowed him to leave two hours early to take me home and just be with me. He didn't leave my side all weekend, not for one minute. And for that, I am grateful. I love him.
It's hard to think about anything else other than the gun and hooded man, but I finally found an antidote.
OREGON.
JD and I have been planning to visit Oregon for four months now (where JD served his mission). We're going in April for a full week.
I'm going to be visiting places like this
And for one night we're going to be staying here!!
All these beautiful places plus some amazing people I get to meet will surely make one fine week. We are beyond excited! Can it be April yet?
