It's been a busy few weeks since my last post. Some big changes have been made in the Parker household. First off, Max got fixed. Not the most exciting thing to blog about, I know, but I wanted to mention it so I could post this cute picture of him :)
Second, we welcomed a new member to our home. More specifically, to our walls. Meet Mr. Deer, aka Max's arch nemesis.
Max has hated this thing since the moment we hung it up. He growls and barks at it. He is constantly jumping on my piano bench to stare it down. The first few nights with the deer, we would wake up to Max barking at it in the early hours of the morning. They are no where near friendship, but there has since been improvement. Max only barks at it when he gets scared or woken up. He still sits on my piano bench a lot, contemplating ways to take down and destroy the deer.
Third and final change for the Parker family is a big one. We fixed up our ghetto kitchen! A while ago, I painted the walls ( as you should all recall from a previous post). We decided to do a little more. JD laid down new floors and I repainted all the cabinetry. Just in case you forgot what our kitchen use to look like, here's a littler reminder.
Note: the picture of Max was to show you the orange tile/ carpet. Sadly, the carpet remains the same.
Here's the results:
Not too shabby. I quite enjoy my kitchen now. Hope everyone is doing well in these final days of February. There's a storm headed our way tomorrow night. Expecting about another foot of snow. I can not wait till the warm weather returns! Also, Oregon is getting closer and closer!!!!
